It's been difficult for our vulnerable neighbors to obtain high quality medical, dental and behavioral healthcare that is affordable, accessible, available AND culturally-sensitive

Within 5 miles of Midwest Refuah Health Center...

• 41,000+ adults are below the Federal Poverty Level
• 19,700+ adults have no usual source of healthcare
• 74.6% (18,500+) of children 6-11 live in low income households
• 35.9% (12,500+) of children 0-11 live below/200% below the poverty line
• 56.2% (15,500) of children are Medicaid-dependent; 9,700+ are uninsured
